This episode is a sermon focused on the central message that God keeps His promises through Jesus Christ. The speaker reflects on Scripture—John, Genesis, Isaiah, and Revelation—explaining how Jesus fulfills the law, secures salvation, and remains faithful even when we are faithless.
The message encourages listeners to draw nearer to God, live obediently in love, and trust His provision in every area of life—from spiritual renewal and healing to daily work and perseverance. It calls for surrender, repentance, and confidence in God’s unchanging promises.

Ward at 57: Compete with Purpose

It's your boy, Ward, the Atmosphere Changer. Today I want to talk about being the best version of you and being okay. I was at the gym this morning at the island. I found myself doing that, what you call it, comparitis. I was comparing myself to other people in the gym and getting frustrated because I'm not as strong as I used to be, but I'm not supposed to be as strong as I used to be. I'm 57 years young. Now, I used to, years ago, I used to bench press almost 400, well, actually 400, 405, and now I can't do that. The part of the reason is I stopped training for one, and two years, a few years ago, back in 21, I got a little sick. I don't even want to say sick. I just wasn't at my best. So, yeah, I lost some strength, and I never started training hard again. But while I was in there watching other people work out in between my sets, which I only did a few. Found myself mentally competing with them. Now, I know some people would say, well, no, you don't need to compete with nobody but yourself. And that's all good and beautiful. But for me, I'm a competitor, a former athlete. I like to compete against somebody else. So even though those guys in there don't know it, they're my competition. I'm competing with them and I want to win. Now, I may never, ever be as strong as those young men again, and that's okay. But having that desire to compete and push myself, I love that. I love that they are able to do that for me. They don't know they do that for me, but they do. Because I want to win. I want to beat them. It's not enough for me to just be my very best. I want to beat them. And I know what that is. That's that competitor spirit in me. I want to win. This is the Atmosphere Changer podcast. This is about personal growth, and you change it, and you become as your very best. What do you want to win at? And I got another question. Why aren't you winning? Are you not willing to pay the price? Because anything worthwhile is going to cost you something. And if you're not willing to pay the price, stop fooling yourself. You don't want it. Because if you want it, you will pay the price. Like I said, I'm 57. I still like to look good physically. I still like to have a... I don't look intimidating no more, but I like that look. You know, having big traps, nice shoulders, that gorilla look. To me, that's an intimidating look. Now, I'm an easy-going guy and I don't want to intimidate nobody, but I like that look. You know, that look like, whoa, if I see that guy in the alley, I'll go the other way. I like that. That's the look I like for myself. I don't know. That may sound crazy to some people, but that's just me. Now back to you. You have a desire. There's something you want. There's something you want. It may be a look. It may be money. It may be a house. It may be a car. It may be a girlfriend. It may be a boyfriend. It may be a wife. It may be a husband. It may be a child. You want that thing. What can you do to get it? What discipline are you willing to put upon yourself to achieve whatever it is you want? What price are you willing to pay? That's what I'm asking for. Are you willing to pay the price? Because if you're not, you don't want it. I'm your boy, Ward, the Atmosphere Changer, and I'll talk to you guys on.
